How to sign out from gmail ?
After you have created free email account with gmail, you will be automatically signed in. Before leaving the computer from which you have created your gmail account you must sign out from your account. In order to sign out from gmail just look at the top right corner of your screen. There you will find a link "Sign Out". Click that link and that's it now you have signed out from your email account.
How to check whether you have signed out from your gmail account.
After following the above process you will notice the login screen of gmail, recheck by opening mail.google.com , if still you are seeing your emails in your inbox that mean you are still logged in.
Their could be some problem with your browser cookies because of which you are still signed in your account. You must clear your browser cookies in order to sign out completely.
